To me it was an opportunity to wear loads of different colours as the tartan patterns often incorporate many colours one can play with.
Well, presenting A Week of Dressing Tartanly:
I found this grey dress today - it is so Mad Men! And I don't think I have to tell you how much I dig the cotton balls around the neck. To top it off the shop had a sale on, so I got this piece for only 25 Dkkr/5$/3£!
This whole outfit (except shoes and tights) is thrifted:
Shirt: Forever21
Cardigan: H&M
Skirt: Day
Tights: asos.com
Shoes: Topshop (Christmas present):
...
Thursday:
Cardigan: Ganni
Dress: Monsoon
Tights: Sneaky Fox
Shoes: Topshop
Belt: asos.com
...
Friday:
Cardigan: Day
Dress: thrifted
Shoes: Topshop
...
All week:
Boots: Bronx
Beret: Accessorize - customized
Gloves: Oasis
Scarf: gift
So that was my result. Hope you liked it. Next week my challenge will be to wear TARTAN Monday-Friday.

We visited every temple and ruin in town, and the weather was lovely (most of the time) so we enjoyed everything a lot.
What you cannot see on the picture below is that right behind me where a couple of turtles getting it on in the animal planet kind of way... if you get my drift... right in the Keramikos.
Shirt: Asos.com
Skirt: Day
The few rainy days were spend in the museums: the new and dead cheap Acropolis Museum and the National Museum of Archeology (where the picture below is from).I have intensions of making some outfit posts today, but as I look like sh** I might just wait a few days... (I tried to make some shots yesterday, but they were bad, just baaad).
Well, back to my chamomille tea...

Black and white (or monochromatic as the fashionwise say) is a classic, which I haven't worn too much as I find it a bit formal and boring. This depends on the pieces of clothing you wear of cause, and I do like this version:
Blouse: Monsoon
Skirt: Day
Shoes: Miss L Fire at Asos
Dress: Day
Belt: H&M
Shoes: ? (bought in Macy's NY)
Hairband: Muggie Moscow
Next up is a beautiful vintage dress I found in a shop called Pigen&Pigen, that sadly closed for good the next day - but that also meant that they had a nice closing sale :-)
I especially love the front with the overlapping cut.
Dress: vintage, no label
Bag: Accessorize
Shoes: ?
Last but not least is a look I'm yet to try out in public. Well I've worn the skirt and cardigan many times before, but never with the giant bow. I'm all about bows at the moment, so I have to try it out soon...
I've had this dress for years and years. It was a bestseller when I worked in the Monsoon shop and at first I missed out on it, but luckily a lady returned one in my size:-) I've had it on on every holiday.
I just had to make two copy outfits for this one.
The lightpink one is a dress I bought in Shanghai on sale in a department store (cheap), the shoes are from a fleamarket I went to last weekend.
The hot pink outfit is a very old silk dress bought in HM 12 years ago I guess and an embellished cardigan from Day (one of my favorite Danish brands) bought in a commision shop some years ago. The belt is thrifted and the shoes are a souvenir from the Seychelles (or as I call it: Paradise on Earth).
Third and last in this round:
I love the green dress Chuck has on here, and though my copycat dress is not in the same style, the idea of the bottle green colour and the full skirt is somewhat the same. This is another Monsoon dress from my happy days in the shop, the belt is thrifted and the gold shoes are from a commision shop.
It has been fun trying to match Chucks outfits, and I now have a newfound fondness of my colourful wardrobe. If you come by my blog and want to comment on my attempt, feel free to do so...
